This perk is now available on the most recent Honor MagicBook as well. The new MagicBook X14 has a beautiful, light, and portable full-screen metal shell. It also has multi-screen teamwork and easy-to-use features, like a one-touch connection, which make it perfect for the office. It’s not hard to get twice as much done. The Honor MagicBook X14 is an updated version of the previous model. It has an all-metal body and a screen-to-body ratio of up to 84%.

Appearance and layout
The Honor MagicBook X14 has a simple case on the front. The metal is smooth and has no decorations on its surface. The only thing that represents the Honor name is the simple, more professional-sounding, brilliant metal LOGO. The Honor MagicBook X14 has a screen that takes up the whole screen. The microphone, front camera, and other parts are put in different places so that the screen-to-body ratio can go as high as 88%. When you use the full-size keyboard on the Honor MagicBook X14, you don’t have to worry about making any mistakes. The standard two-in-one design of the fingerprint power button lets you quickly and securely authenticate your fingerprint and also turn on the screen’s lights. The keyboard hides a hidden camera that can be turned on with a button. Physical protection can be used to keep the information secret. On the bottom right corner of side C of the notebook, there is a touch sticker. By touching this area with an Honor phone that has NFC, you can quickly set up a multi-screen collaborative pairing, and then you can try out the cutting-edge features of a PC mobile phone connection.
Performance
The newer and faster processor is the main change between the 2021 and 2020 MagicBooks. An AMD Ryzen 5 3500U CPU with Radeon Vega 8 graphics and 8 GB of RAM powered the previous version. Now, you might have 16GB of RAM (2 x 8GB DDR4-3200MHz attached to the board) and an Intel Core i7 1165G7 processor with quad cores and Iris XE graphics built in. Even without separate images, the new model is still better. On our 4K media test, the new MagicBook did 21 points better than the Ryzen laptop. Even more so, the GeekBench 5 test was a huge success.
Price
The Honor MagicBook 14 2022 laptop can be bought in China (where it was first sold), Malaysia, India, Singapore, and many other places, but not in the UK as of this writing. We tried to find out when that would change, but until then, you won’t be able to buy this laptop (or any Honor laptop) in the United States. People in other countries, including the United States, can get one by buying a Chinese-made model running Chinese Windows 11 Home through the online store Aliexpress. One type has graphics built in, another has a China-only Nvidia Geforce MX550, and the third has a Geforce RTX 2050 graphics processing unit (GPU). Outside of China, all MagicBook 14 2022 models have the same Intel Core i5, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD that we tried with.
On Honor’s French website, the base price for a MagicBook 14 2022 is 999 Euros (£860, $1,470), while the RTX2050 model costs 1199 Euros (£1,030, $1,190, £1,760). These prices include an Early Bird saving of 100 Euros that you can use right away. Is it fair to charge 20% more for a graphics card? We’re not sure what to think about it because, on the one hand, it makes GPU-related jobs much faster and, on the other hand, it gives you 25% more RAM (the GPU itself has 4GB of dedicated memory). But the XE is fast enough for everything else besides games.
The verdict
Compared to the Ryzen 5 machine it replaces, the new Core i7 processor and integrated graphics are a strong but unambitious improvement, especially given the price increase. Even though the new MagicBook is powerful, stylish, well-made, and has a longer battery life, it is not totally recommended because it is expensive, doesn’t have a Type-C connector, and has the webcam in an awkward place
