Sony has always focused on the eco-friendly concept that their products should reflect this norm in their material. This is evident from this Song WF-1000XM5 which is entirely made up of 100% recycled material. The charging case is a little bit textured, but the earbuds are sleek, shiny and smooth which gives them a perfect finish. They are superfluous and lightweight as compared to the previous ones in the same series. The earbud comes with four ear tips, so that you can use whichever you want. I used the medium ones for my ears, and I was amazed by the amazing sound quality and lightweight build up.

There is a perfect feature of noise cancelling that makes every single note in the music evident and you can even hear the background music when you pay attention. The earbuds come in two basic shades, Black and Platinum Silver which gives it a sturdy and glossy finish. The earbuds weigh 5.9g each and have a lightweight cushion which makes you feel that you have nothing on. Thanks to the accommodating ear tips and perfect built, they fit nicely into my ear, and I don’t have to adjust them from time to time. It was like I was in a concert, and I was listening to live music. Everything else just became mute. Even the people sitting next to me were not audible. Call quality and audio processing also works nicely.

I listened to many songs and they all sound perfect. Even the song “Rockabye” which has a little bass in it was sounding immersive. The battery life is also long, which means that Sony WF-1000XM5 can be played for up to 12-hours without the noise cancellation feature. After listening to so much audio, it takes almost 1.5 hours to fully charge the earbuds.

The Sony features headstrong technology in the latest WF-1000XM. The head-tracking technology features a modern idea which is basically when you tilt your head, then the audio will be adjusted to your movement. When I listened to a song for the first time in my XM5, I thought that the voice had gotten cleaner.

Everything was refined, the surrounding noises were cut perfectly, and I was very much concentrating on the music being played.  This is because they have tightened the earbuds in an aim to make it audiophile. The sound delivered by the earbuds has a voluminous depth and separate instrument for tonal balance.
